FIPAS Inc. is a company specialized in foreign applications.

All of the engineers and clerical staff belonging to FIPAS Inc. have a wealth of experience in service for foreign applications for patent, utility model, and design, and are well versed in laws and practices in each country. Therefore, as a company that can immediately respond to revision of laws and can representatively file applications in all the technical fields, we receive filing requests from clients belonging to various categories of business.

Strong network with local agents.

We have filed a lot of applications for patent, utility model, and design in many countries in the world.
About 60 % of the applications are applications in the U.S., Europe and China. However, we have filed applications in various regions such as ASEAN, Latin America, Middle East, and Africa, and we have a strong network with local agents in 70 or more countries at present.
We perform evaluation and feedback for the local agents in both technical and clerical aspects every half year to encourage them to make efforts for improvement.

By using translation resources of Honyaku Center Inc. (JASDAQ：2483), which is the only listed company in Japan as a company specialized in industrial translation, many clients actually feel an advantage of cost reduction.

FIPAS Inc. was established as intra-venture business of Honyaku Center Inc., has a history of 10 years or more, and has made efforts to improve all the services since the establishment.
By exchanging opinions for QC check and productivity in a weekly meeting attended by all of staff, and deciding, planning, and executing an improvement idea, we create an organization culture that can cycle PDCA all the time.
